England Touch Rugby made history this week by sending two Women's 40 teams to the Federation of International Touch European Touch Championships, the first time that women in this age category have competed at this level in the northern hemisphere. These matches also form an important part of our preparations for a home WorldCup in 2024.
Our very own Gaynor Sewell received her first England cap playing for the Women's 40's squad, which went on to win the Gold medal by a strong performance V's Scotland in the final, where Gaynor even scored a try.
It's been a fantastic week in France for the Euro's, with the preparation leading the way through to the World Cup next year in Nottingham.
